Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

This Agreement outlines the terms of enrollment and media release for participation in any educational program offered by Begin Institute LLC (the “Institute”), a California limited liability company under Martins Samuel Studios LLC. By enrolling, the student (the “Participant”) agrees to the following terms:

1. Enrollment & Participation

Enrollment is subject to space availability and receipt of applicable tuition fees. Participants agree to attend scheduled classes, actively engage in assignments, and maintain respectful conduct in all Institute programs.

2. Code of Conduct

Participants agree to uphold a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free learning environment. Disruptive behavior, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct may result in dismissal from the program without refund.

3. Tuition & Refund Policy

Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of the program unless otherwise agreed in writing. Refunds, if issued, will be subject to a written request and reviewed case-by-case, based on timing and cause of withdrawal.

4. Ownership of Work

Participants retain creative rights to original work they write, perform, or develop. However, the Institute retains a non-exclusive license to record, distribute, and showcase participant work created during the course for educational and promotional use.

5. Liability Waiver

The Institute is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during participation in its programs. Participants agree to assume full responsibility for their own safety and belongings.

6. Media Release

Participants grant the Institute full permission to record, photograph, and use their image, name, voice, likeness, and completed projects in marketing materials, promotional content, websites, films, and events. This release includes the right to edit and use such media in perpetuity without compensation.

7. Confidentiality

Participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow students and instructors. No part of classroom recordings or private feedback may be shared publicly without express written consent.

8. Agreement & Consent

By submitting an application, the Participant affirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
